How does ordering a custom photo on canvas work?
First, choose the desired size, upload your photo, and then determine the crop yourself by dragging and zooming. Once everything is set, add the canvas to your shopping cart.
Can I move my photo?
Yes. After uploading, you can drag the photo within the canvas area. This allows you to choose which part of the photo will be visible on the canvas.
Can I zoom in on my photo?
Yes. You can enlarge the photo using the zoom control. This is useful if you want to display a specific part of the photo larger on the canvas.
What file types can I upload?
You can upload common image files, such as JPG, PNG, and WEBP.
When is my photo suitable for canvas?
Ideally, use a sharp, high-resolution photo. Photos from modern smartphones are usually suitable. Avoid screenshots, small images, or photos that are already blurry.
Is my selected crop saved?
Yes. The crop you create by zooming and panning will be used to generate a print file for your order.
Can I choose a square, portrait, or landscape format?
Yes. You can choose from different formats, including square, portrait, and landscape. The preview automatically adjusts to the selected format.
Will I see exactly what my canvas will look like?
The preview provides a good representation of the crop and aspect ratio. Small color differences may occur due to screen settings and the printing process.
Will my photo be uploaded before I pay?
Yes. The photo is temporarily uploaded as soon as you choose it, so that the preview and print file can be created. The photo is only linked to your order when you add the product to the shopping cart and check out.
Can I edit my photo later?
As long as the product has not yet been ordered, you can go back and choose a different photo or crop. After placing the order, the chosen version will be used for production.
What happens if my photo doesn't fit properly?
You can move and zoom the photo yourself until the crop is correct. For some sizes, part of the photo will be cropped to completely fill the canvas.
