Pébéo Black Gesso is an extra opaque black gesso primer for preparing painting surfaces. The gesso creates a smooth, matte black base and ensures good adhesion of paints and mediums.

This black primer is ideal when you want to work on a dark surface, for example for acrylic paint, oil paint, mixed media, abstract work, decorative techniques, or creative projects with strong contrasts.

How to use

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free.

4. For a smoother surface, the dry layer can be lightly sanded.
5. Then apply paint, mediums, or other decorative layers.
